Apparently this is the worst time – right after the Marc Benioff keynote. The crowd was massive – you would think everyone pushing was hoping to get the latest Cabbage Patch Kid for an holiday gift! They also provide free lunch so that too increased the foot traffic.

Oddly I didn’t see any mention ofTwitter
or Facebook outside of a small booth in the Salesforce employee area.
This conference takes me back to my marketing days – all business and/or business casual dress. A massive sales and marketing crowd! And it seems about 50/50 women and men. Here are some photos from the Expo Hall:
The theme is “collaborate”
Love this recycling idea – they should add a checkbox on the registration form to ask if you want one of these huge books – I certainly would have passed

They have a DJ spinning the jams in the entry foyer – I asked him for some Rachel Stevens and his reply was, “who?”

Here’s the “new” Seesmic which apparently has made the raccoon now an enterprise raccoon

the hand knows ecommerce

They sure do love this “no software” badge

Always remember to be nice to the people on the way up as you will see the same people on the way down

The smell of this cotton candy draws you in from far away…

I think IZEA has a booth at every conference!

Bit of the crowd in the partner area

There are tons of Salesforce employees around to help

I found it warm in the expo hall – I can only imagine what it must be in a suit like this
